The Accounting Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our company by accurately and efficiently handling various accounting tasks. As an integral member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records, processing transactions, and providing support to the accounting department to ensure the company's financial operations run smoothly.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records using accounting software.
- Process and record financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with financial regulations.
- Create and maintain various financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to provide financial information and respond to inquiries.
- Identify and resolve any discrepancies or errors in financial records.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions.
- Stay up-to-date with accounting regulations and software updates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience working in an accounting role.
