Job Description

We are seeking experienced and safety-conscious Long-Haul Truck Drivers to join our team. As a Long-Haul Truck Driver, you will play a vital role in transporting goods across long distances while adhering to all regulations and safety standards. HOURS: 30 HOURS PER WEEK 

DUTIES:

Driving and Deliveries:

• Operate tractor-trailers or straight-body trucks to transport goods across Canada and the United States.
• Plan efficient routes and ensure timely deliveries.

Vehicle Maintenance:

• Perform pre-trip inspections to ensure the truck is in good working order.
• Document any issues and report them promptly.
• Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit.

Compliance and Documentation:

• Obtain required documentation (bills of lading, permits, etc.) for transporting goods.
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
• Follow safety procedures for transporting hazardous materials.

Communication:

• Communicate with dispatchers, other drivers, and customers using communication devices.
• Coordinate deliveries efficiently.

Emergency Situations:

• Be prepared for emergency roadside repairs if needed.
• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy for long trips.

LICENSE:

• AZ class license
