Maintenance Millwright

Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of machinery and equipment within our facility. The Maintenance Millwright will play a crucial role in minimizing downtime, optimizing performance, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations. 

We are currently seeking qualified and highly motivated individuals to perform maintenance and repairs on sawmill / planer mill production equipment. Positions available for both Day and Night Shift as well as the Week end Shift. Candidate must be a current resident of Canada to be considered.
 

Job Duties

• Installation , maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment
• General Preventative maintenance task
• Align and calibrate machinery and equipment parts as required for efficient and safe operation
• Use a variety of hand tools, measuring tools, and equipment for cutting, welding and brazing to complete work
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and detailed repair drawings related to sawmill production equipment
• Troubleshooting mechanical equipment
  
  Qualifications :
• Trade Certification as a Industrial Mechanic/Millwright (Journeyman or Apprentice)
• Welding Ticket considered an asset
