Assistant Bookkeeper

Duties:
- Assist with bookkeeping tasks such as data entry, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Prepare financial reports and statements
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records
- Assist with payroll processing and tax filings
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Provide administrative support to the bookkeeping team

Skills:
- Proficiency in bookkeeping software and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience working in a medical, dental, or administrative office is a plus
- Familiarity with phone systems and customer support is a plus

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational skills to join our team as an Assistant Bookkeeper. As an Assistant Bookkeeper, you will play a vital role in supporting our bookkeeping team by performing various administrative and financial tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to gain experience in the field of bookkeeping and accounting.

To be successful in this role, you should have strong attention to detail, be proficient in bookkeeping software, and have good knowledge of basic accounting principles. Experience working in a medical, dental, or administrative office is a plus. Additionally, familiarity with phone systems and customer support will be beneficial.
