We are currently seeking candidates for the role of Corporate Continuous Improvement Facilitator, based at our head office location in Saint John, New Brunswick.

Reporting to the Corporate Continuous Improvement Team, the Corporate Continuous Improvement Facilitator supports the ongoing development, administration and delivery of J.D. Irving, Limited (JDI)’s Corporate Continuous Improvement Training Programs. Our group provides training, coaching, and facilitation support to individuals and teams so that they are better equipped to support and lead improvement efforts in their businesses.

The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver effective in-house Continuous Improvement Certification Programs that align with Lean Six Sigma methodologies. This role will also support the ongoing development and management of the programs in the background, through participation in internal continuous improvement initiatives.

Ongoing development of the program will involve benchmarking with world class adult educators and leading six sigma / lean companies. The role will work closely with divisional improvement directors, and Corporate Human Resources to ensure the continuous improvement training is aligned with the company’s leadership development program.

Position Requirements:

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from a recognized institution/company OR relevant continuous improvement experience
• Previous experience leading lean transformations and/or leading six sigma projects to completion
• Experience facilitating and must be able to interact with all levels of the organization
• Post Secondary Degree
• Understanding of adult learning theory, coaching, and change management principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, documentation management, and process mapping
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills
• Excellent leadership and motivational skills
