DescriptionThe CompanyOur client is a creative agency based in downtown Toronto. They are looking for a freelance Drupal Developer for a short term contract to start as soon as possible until February 2024.The PositionThe freelance Drupal Developer will develop websites according to best practise standards and methodologies. As the Developer you will be able to adapt and build from existing page templates using Drupal, PHP, Javascript and CSSResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and configure Drupal websites; Drupal 8/9Developing and maintaining Drupal websitesDeveloping custom Drupal modules and themesTroubleshoot website issues and debug codeOptimize website performance and implement security measuresImplement responsive design and web accessibility standardsCollaborate with other team members of the project, such as usability, design, front-end, QA and project managersRequirements5+ years of web/front-end development experienceExperience building responsive websites using Drupal CMS, HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3Experience with PHP, jQuery and CMS platformsPrior experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applicationsDeep knowledge and extensive experience working with modern web technologies, frameworks and techniques Proven experience working with template components.Ability to understand CSS changes to have consistent style across platforms and browsers.Capacity to develop working HTML pages from comprehensive layout and wireframesWorking knowledge of the MySQL databaseRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
