Job Description

Responsibilities: - Supervise and manage daily operations of the food service department - Ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation - Oversee inventory management and ordering of supplies - Train and mentor team members on proper food handling and safety procedures - Provide excellent customer service and address any customer concerns or complaints - Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records - Collaborate with the kitchen staff to develop and update menu offerings - Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment -Coordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food - Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation -Establish work schedules and procedures -Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards -May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets -May plan menus and determine food and labour costs. Qualifications: - Previous experience in restaurant management or food service supervision preferred - Knowledge of POS (Point of Sale) systems for order processing and cash handling - Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed If you are passionate about hospitality, have strong customer service skills, and enjoy working in a team-oriented environment, we would love to hear from you.
