Job Description

Education: Earned doctorate degree Experience: 5 years or more Tasks Assess patients' diseases or disorders to determine appropriate surgical procedures Study the nature, cause and development of diseases and the structural and functional changes caused by diseases Act as consultants to other physicians Diagnose and treat diseases and physiological or psychiatric disorders Order laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostic procedures Prescribe medication and treatment and refer patients for surgery Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses Specialty residency training Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Certification Examination Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities Security and safety Criminal record check Work conditions and physical capabilities Fast-paced environment Work under pressure Attention to detail Combination of sitting, standing, walking Standing for extended periods Walking Large workload Overtime required Personal suitability Accurate Client focus Dependability Efficient interpersonal skills Excellent oral communication Excellent written communication Flexibility Initiative Interpersonal awareness Judgement Organized Reliability Team player Values and ethics Screening questions Are you currently legally able to work in Canada?
