Responsibilities: - Provide exceptional non-emergency transport services to patients requiring transfer to, from and between hospitals, healthcare facilities and households for individuals who are stretcher or wheelchair bound. - Maintain ambulances and emergency care equipment and supplies. - Monitoring patients on route. - Communicating with the dispatching center. Skills: -Age 25+ and driving experience at least 3 years - Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and medical staff - Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment - Compassionate and empathetic nature to provide comfort and support to patients - Attention to detail - Ability to lift 250 pounds with a partner Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
