Mrs. Dunster’s has been a family tradition throughout the Maritimes and Maine for 50 years. We are a local, family owned and operated fresh bakery, with bakery operations in Sussex, NB, and Moncton, NB. We are known for our unique products, our great customer service, our talented team and our passion for community involvement.

We are currently looking for an organized, financial-minded individual who is excited about all things payroll, to join our Finance Team.

Responsibilities:

Bi-weekly payroll administration
Benefits administration
Preparing and submitting government remittances
Reconciling payroll and benefits accounts in accounting systems
Reporting on payroll metrics
Preparation and submission of statistical surveys relating to payroll information
Communicating with payroll and benefit providers
Responding to employees inquiries regarding payroll and benefits
Other duties within the scope of finance, as required

Qualifications

Post-secondary education in accounting with a focus on payroll
5+ years’ experience in payroll administration
Exceptional time management and detail orientation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Understanding of human resources and labor rules and regulations.
Strong work ethic and team orientation
Well versed in accounting and finance related technology and the ability to learn new systems and processes
