As an Optometric Assistant, you are an all-round team member and will have many different roles in our office. Greeting patients, checking them in and out, and processing insurance claims.

Assisting our optometrist is a key element of this position, performing preliminary assessments prior to the eye exam and following up at the end of the exam with any further guidance given by our optometrists. You will also be able to teach proper contact lens care and handling techniques.

Another element of the job will be to assist our opticians, so a great eye for fashion and style will be essential, providing excellent frame selection options and lens advice to our patients.

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays. Compensation is $15.50 - $16.50/hour.
