Job Description General Dynamics Mission Systems -Canada is staffing an exciting co-op opportunity to contribute to the design, development, and delivery of the training systems for the CP-140 Aurora long-range patrol aircraft operated by the Royal Canadian Air Force. The successful candidate will be involved in multiple taskings integrating and and updating features of the Aurora Training Platforms including designing, implementing, testing, and documenting features. This opportunity follows a Hybrid work environment. Responsibilities include: Creating requirements and testing to said requirements to ensure capabilities are of the highest standard and meet our customer's needs; Working with GDMS-C suppliers and sub-contractors to incorporate their software into GDMS-C delivered systems; Working with engineers of other disciplines, primarily Hardware and Software, to implement and validate updates and changes to GDMS-C Training Systems; Working with our end customer, members of the Canadian Forces, to determine their needs and ensure they understand how to use GDMS-C systems. Qualifications Essential Skills: Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail Experience working with software developers or in a software development environment Experience with unit testing, integration testing, or acceptance test-driven development Assets: Experience with DOORS Knowledge of Aircraft and/or Military Systems Experience writing technical documentation Additional Information Security Clearance Must be able to obtain and maintain Canadian Security Clearance and a positive Controlled Goods Assessment.
