Participation Lodge Grey Bruce is seeking a reliable and self-motivating individual to join our Outreach Bathing Program to provide assistance to individuals in Hanover. What the position offers: 14 hours per week Tuesday and Thursday Day-to-day responsibilities: Bathing individuals in the Adult Day Program at Hanover Hospital Transfers via a ceiling lift into the tub Approximately 4-6 individuals to bath per day. Days of work are Tuesday and Thursday. 7 hours per day. Sanitizing of tub, cleaning protocols after each bath. The ideal applicant possess: PSW/DSW certification, preferred but consideration may be given to relevant working experience or combination of personal experience and post-secondary education Valid First Aid & CPR Training Current NVCI training, or willing to attend in-house training Dependable transportation within the designated region, personal vehicle preferred Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on diplomacy The ability to work independently and with little supervisory guidance A great attitude to uplift and empower individuals within their community Interested parties can apply by submitting a current resume to careers@participationlodge.ca or by applying through this posting.
