We are currently recruiting a Prep Cook on behalf of our client, to prepare and cook a variety of dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment, contributing to the culinary excellence of their establishment. Experience: Chinese restaurant cooking with woks and strong knife skills are an asset for this position.

Responsibilities include:

• Cutting meats and vegetables
• Preparing and cooking dishes to order
• Using deep fryers
• Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in a fast paced kitchen.
• Experience preparing a variety of Chinese dishes.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Ensure proper food safety and sanitation practices are followed at all times to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
• Maintain a positive attitude and remain calm under pressure.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team, communicate clearly, and take direction.
